Yuuko's Magic Circle... I guess it's the most complex of all CLAMP-verse magic circles XD

Three of the four corner symbols are from Rayearth. In clockwise order, Fuu, Hikaru, and Umi's crests.

Oh, nice work!!

well, it isn't all that surprising that she would have those symbols as part of her magic circle, since the Mokonas are modelled after Magic Knight rayearth's Mokona, after all... she's "the witch of the dimension", after all, so it kind of makes sense...

Well, since the symbols mean air, fire and water (in order of appearence), the fourth one probably means earth.
So the moon phases and the zodiacal signs mean time (times of the month and times of the year), and the elements probably space... which makes sense. Witch of time and space...
And the other symbol, repeated four times, looks like wings... so she's the witch of travelling through time and space... the Witch of the Dimension, in short.

It's not so hard once you follow CLAMP's dogma... "everything happens for a reason", otherwise known as "there's no such thing as coincidences..." and you know the rest.
Everything in a CLAMP series has a purpose and a reason for being, even if it's jut a background character that was scratching their nose.
So if we take that into account, nothing in a magic circle could be merely decorative.
...now if only I could figure out what those other things in it mean...
